Construction Documents (CD sets) convey design intent: site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules coordinated across architecture and engineering. They are the legal basis for permits and bids, conforming to IBC, AIA, and National CAD Standards.

Shop drawings translate that intent into fabrication reality: millwork joinery, steel connections, curtain-wall mullion extrusions, precast lift points, and ductwork spool sheets — each with cut lists, piece marks, and revision clouds.

Under AIA A201 and AGC contracts, shop drawings are submittals reviewed (but not approved) by the architect/engineer of record. Apex produces AIA/AISC/AWI-compliant submittals with title blocks, BOMs, and BIM coordination to expedite approvals and prevent field clashes.

We bridge both: from schematic CD sets for planning boards to millimeter-accurate shop packages for fabricators — serving contractors across all 50 states with 24–72-hour redline turnaround.
